Where Does My Donation Go?
Each year, Reston Runway to the Cure, Inc. dedicates the proceeds from its runway show to both a national organization conducting research to end breast cancer and a local non-profit that provides support services to breast cancer warriors.
This year we are supporting the following organizations:
HealthWorks for Northern Virginia
HealthWorks for Northern Virginia is a patient-centered medical provider that provides compassionate, comprehensive care with excellence. Their multilingual team offers medical, dental, and behavioral care, no matter your income or insurance status. By providing mammograms and ultrasounds, HealthWorks can offer vital services to patients who might not otherwise be able to afford these offerings. HealthWorks gives families the care coordination they need for optimal health.
Nina Hyde Center for Breast Cancer Research
The Nina Hyde Center for Breast Cancer Research, part of the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, was established in 1989 to advance breast cancer research and honor Nina Hyde’s legacy. With over 70 experts, the center focuses on prevention, treatment, and genetic research, including BRCA mutations, while benefiting from strong philanthropic support to drive innovation and patient care.
